In Warsaw, Poland, on May 17th this year, the SNS–EFINORD network gathered stakeholders from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Poland and Sweden. Their aim was to streamline the processes that bring forest science into practice: forest management.
In each country forest research results contribute to the development of practical forest management through various kinds of processes and organizational arrangements, but international cooperation is lacking. This network and its conference was one way to improve that.
The conference left its marks in a report called “Tools for improving science-practice interaction in forestry” which can be downloaded here! (link no longer available)
