Nordic dendrometer network for monitoring and predicting forest responses to climate change (NordicDendroNet)

The aim of the NordicDendrometerNet is to create new and strengthen existing collaborations between researchers measuring and monitoring tree growth and tree stress with dendrometers, with emphasis on Nordic and high-latitude regions.We aim to bridge gaps between the Nordics and other European monitoring projects by linking scientific expertise and facilitating data exchange.
Ultimately, we would like to see the creation of a new pan-Nordic forest monitoring network with strong collaborative ties with other European and global forest monitoring networks and leverage different funding opportunities at the national and European levels.
