
There must be a Nordic component in the application. You can be granted funds for general planning of the course if the subject of the course has a direct Nordic component, travel expenses for Nordic participants or to invite visiting Nordic lecturers for example. Funding is not granted for labour costs including for example salary.
Whoever arranges a PhD course can apply for a maximum of SEK 50,000 for a course. You can apply at any time during the year as long as there is money left in the pot – first come, first served! SNS can cover a maximum of 50% of the total expenses for the course.
SNS wants the applicant to complete and send us the reporting form no later than three months after the end of the course. The form is sent to sns@slu.se, mark it “Reporting/PhD course”.

SNS offers you to use our method manual for a more gender equal course. The method handbook is an accessible guide for teachers and students to integrate digital issues from a gender perspective into forest and agricultural education.
