SNS Growth and Yield Nordic biannual conference is scheduled to take the place in Latvia from June 7-9, 2022. Please save the date!
The topic of the meeting is “Local solutions for regional and global forest management challenges”, and it will cover following topics:
• growth and yield modeling
• improvement of forest growing conditions
• fast-growing trees and fast growing of trees
• climate change and forest growth
• benefits and risks of intensified forest management.
The conference will be organized as a combined inperson and online event. Field excursions and outdoor sessions at scientific research forests at Kalsnava forest district will complement the indoor presentations. The capacity for participants is limited due to the accomodation issues, however online participation will be open for all interested.
