Igor Drobyshev, coordinator of the SNS co-funded network “Fire mitigation through fuel management in Nordic forests (NordicFireFuels, NFF)” has produced a film with the aim of explaining, from a popular science point of view, the importance of controlled fires to preserve natural values in Swedish nature reserves that house fire-dependent ecosystems.
The film also shows the context in which scientific results can be relevant and contribute to better control of the effects of fires.
