Last week, the Nordic Council of Ministers welcomed a group of curious students from across the Nordic region! The SNS and NKJ student network gathered in Copenhagen to learn, network, and advance the work they had already begun.
Their first stop gave insights into the Nordic Council of Ministers’ efforts to foster Nordic cooperation, shared regulations, and a unified Nordic voice on the global stage. Adam Høyer Lenz, a senior adviser, unveiled the many facets of the Nordic Council of Ministers’ work.
The visit also included a network meeting and a trip to the University of Copenhagen’s Landbohøjskolen – Faculty of Science (Food, Veterinary Medicine, and Natural Resources). Frida Maj Vinther Nielsen presented the Green Tripartite Agreement, and told about the educational opportunities at University of Copenhagen.
The students enjoyed a stroll through the campus park, which boasts a diverse range of plants and cultivations. And, as a special treat, the rose garden was in full, vibrant bloom!

The Nordic Student Network
The purpose of the network is to give youth from agricultural and forestry student unions the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas. By involving representatives from each Nordic country – with a focus on gender balance and diverse backgrounds – we aim to facilitate collaboration among students at both master’s and PhD level. The goal is to increase contact and cooperation between students in agriculture and forestry in the Nordic region.
